There is no overarching system of funding or grants for retrofitting, however some government support is available for certain measures for certain people, according to criteria. Some of these are included below.
If you are not eligible for grants, new finance products are becoming available which may be able to help. Some examples of these are shown below. Some providers are offering additional borrowing via mortgages for energy efficiency measures. Nationwide, for example, allow you to borrow up to £20,000, with no interest being paid for the first 2 or 5 years

Retrofit Equity Release products are emerging.
The Equity Release Council regulate some of these schemes. They represent the equity release sector and exist to promote high standards of conduct and practice in the provision of and advice on equity release which have consumer safeguards at its heart.
